MINIMUM STAY
Christmas
2006: A minimum stay of fourteen (14) nights is required
effective 22nd December 2006.
USA
President's Weekend 2007: A minimum stay of five (5) nights
is required effective 15th February 2007.
Easter
2007: A minimum stay of five (5) nights is required effective
05th April 2007.
World
Cup of Cricket 2007: A minimum stay of five (5) nights
is required effective 25th April 2007.
USA
Independence Weekend 2007: A minimum stay of five (5)
nights is required effective 01st July 2007.
USA
Thanksgiving 2007: A minimum stay of five (5) nights is
required effective 27th November 2007.
2.
CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY
FESTIVE
(17 DECEMBER 2006 - 06 JANUARY 2007):
- A
non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at time of booking.
This must reach the hotel by 01 July 2006 to guarantee the
reservation.
- Full
prepayment for the booking is required no later than 01
October 2006 and if not received, the reservation will be
cancelled and the deposits forfeited.
WINTER,
SUMMER, FALL (07 JANUARY 2007 - 16 DECEMBER 2007):
Three
(3) nights deposit is required at time of booking. The full
deposit will be forfeited if bookings are cancelled less than
28 days prior to arrival. Please be advised that should clients'
no show, cancel or shorten stay, they will be charged for
the full length of their stay.

CHILDREN'S RATES
CHRISTMAS
(17 DECEMBER 2006 - 06 JANUARY 2007)
The daily
rate for a child sharing the accommodation with their parents
is US $400.00 daily for a crib or extra bed. This rate includes
full English breakfast daily, complimentary use of the 'Treehouse
Club' for children ages 03 - 12 during the day from 10:00am
- 6:00pm.
To provide this, Sandy Lane requires the names and ages of
all children travelling at the time of making the reservation.
WINTER,
FALL, SUMMER (07 JANUARY 2007 - 16 DECEMBER 2007)
The daily
rate for a child sharing the accommodation with their parents
is US $250.00 daily for a crib or extra bed. This rate includes
full English breakfast daily, complimentary use of the 'Treehouse
Club' for children ages 03 - 12 during the day from 10:00am
- 6:00pm.
To provide this, Sandy Lane requires the names and ages of
all children travelling at the time of making the reservation.
A maximum
of three persons can share a room or suite. Third person in
a room or suite is a child 12 years and under.
4.
CHECKIN/CHECKOUT
Our
check in time is 16:00hrs, therefore early arrivals who wish
to have their accommodation available on arrival are advised
to book and pay for their room from the night prior to arrival
at the time of making the reservation.
Our checkout
time is 13:00hrs, therefore late departures who wish to stay
in their room until their departure from the hotel are advised
to book and pay for the extension of their room at the time
of making the reservation.
5.
DRESS CODE
Sandy
Lane has been designed in an elegant yet understated style.
We respectfully request that our guests dress appropriately
when enjoying our facilities and advise that clothing suitable
for the pool and beach should not be worn in the restaurants
and bars. Cover-ups should be worn during the day while dining
casually at Bajan Blue, the Beach bar and throughout the hotel
public areas. We request trousers and collared shirts be worn
in the restaurants and public areas after 7:00pm in the evenings.
6.
GOLF
Sandy
Lane offers a wonderful experience comprising of two 18-hole
courses and a 9-hole course- The Country Club, The Green Monkey
and the Old Nine. The magnificent Country Club and the unique
Green Monkey courses are both designed by Tom Fazio. The Green
Monkey course is not yet officially opened, however hotel
guests can play the course during its soft opening at US$350.00
per person including a golf cart equipped with GPS system.
Caddies are mandatory on the Country Club and Green Monkey
courses at US $40.00 per caddie.
Please
note handicap certificates are not required
Club
and shoe rentals are available on request.
7.
PASSPORTS
You
must travel to Barbados with a passport with six months validity.
8.
TIPPING POLICY
For
your convenience tipping is not required nor expected at Sandy
Lane. We have however created a gratuity system, which invites
you to make a contribution at the end of your stay, if you
feel that you have received exceptional service.
9.
ROOM ASSIGNMENT
Due
to the high occupancy levels that the hotel is experiencing
it is not possible to block specific room numbers or allocation
of floors. Any special request will be noted and every attempt
made to satisfy, however guests must be informed that their
request is purely a request and not guaranteed.
10.
INTERCONNECTING ROOMS
We can
only guarantee interconnecting rooms to parents sharing with
children under 12. We also cannot guarantee three or more
rooms next to each other.
11.
JET CENTRE
For
our guests who are British Airways Passengers travelling in
Club Class or Economy, we offer you the opportunity to relax
in secluded comfort before you leave Barbados in the new exclusive
British Airways Lounge at the IAM Jet Centre. On arrival,
you can effortlessly check in your luggage before escaping
to the lounge to relax and spend your time as you wish. Should
you want to purchase duty free goods, you will be driven to
the main terminal 15 minutes before priority boarding. Alternatively,
when the time comes for boarding, you will be driven straight
to the aircrafts steps in an air-conditioned Mercedes Coach
for your maximum convenience. Before you arrive at the airport,
your seat request can be recorded and your boarding card ready
for collection by using the British Airways Fax Check-in service.

booking call the concierge. Charge at US$50.00 per adults.
12.
FIRST LUGGAGE
Stress
and strain free travel can be arrange by us with First Luggage.
First luggage will collect your luggage before you depart
and deliver to your destination before you arrive. No lugging
of heavy bags to the airport, a speedy book-in and no anxious
waiting at the carousel. First Luggage will safely transport
your belongings to your destination. |
