Sandy Lane Introduces New Spa Treatments
from Sunrise to Sunset from September 2006

The Spa at Sandy Lane, Barbados will introduce a new range of luxury treatments from September 2006. Working exclusively with Aromatherapy Associates, Sandy Lane have developed a range of new signature treatments using oils specially blended for Sandy Lane and which embody the very essence of the hotel and its exotic West Indian location.Aromatherapy Associates are experts at developing specialised aromatherapy treatments and products at a professional and therapeutic standard for spas worldwide. The Spa team at Sandy Lane have worked extensively alongside Aromatherapy Associates to formulate Sandy Lane’s new signature spa products which have a decidedly West Indian flavour, incorporating a choice of 100 per cent natural plant oils.

New Signature Massages at Sandy Lane
The two new Sandy Lane signature oils are called “Sunrise” & “Sunset”. The Sunrise massage oil has an invigorating, morning fragrance. West Indian ingredients of pink grapefruit, pink peppercorn, West Indian bay leaf and limes have been used to make up this oil to provide guests with an energising morning massage. Sunset is a relaxing, more sensual fragranced massage oil with blended jasmine, nutmeg and West Indian Sandalwood. Guests at the Spa at Sandy Lane will be able to choose their preferred oil to complement their massage.

New Signature Bajan Head Massage and Body Scrub
A new specially designed Sandy Lane conditioning hair oil of ylang ylang, jojoba, West Indian Bay Leaf and Murumuru has been produced by Aromatherapy Associates and will be used exclusively in Sandy Lane’s Bajan Head Massage. The treatment involves a hair and scalp massage to moisturise, nourish and protect from the sun. The Bajan Head Massage will be included in all Sandy Lane signature spa treatments.  A new Sandy Lane signature body scrub will also be added to the treatment menu, again using a new and exclusive Spa at Sandy Lane product containing the West Indian ingredients of sugar cane and cocoa bean.

New Spa at Sandy Lane Retail Products
Guests will be able to purchase select products from the Spa including the new Sandy Lane body oil, bath and shower wash and room fragrance. These products will be available in the signature Sunrise and Sunset fragrances so that guests can enjoy a gentle reminder of their Sandy Lane holiday back at home. Spa at Sandy Lane retail products will be also available for purchase.

New Sandy Lane Washroom Products in the Spa
All of the Spa’s public washroom areas will also feature the new Spa at Sandy Lane body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, made exclusively for Sandy Lane by Aromatherapy Associates. These luxurious products will be available in the signature Sunset fragrance and have excellent moisturising and hydrating benefits.Therapists at the Sandy Lane Spa are currently undergoing extensive training by Aromatherapy Associates and the exciting new spa treatment menu will be available to guests from mid September 2006.
